Who Are We?
We are a family owned business that has been servicing the Sassafrass and Bohemia River area for over 30 years. We started as a boat detailing company, The ShipShaper LLC, and needed a place to call home thus came Shapin' Marine Detailing and Supplies.
We opened Shapin' in April of 2023 to accommodate Bohemia River Boaters and beyond; we provide a variety of boating supplies from safety to maintenance to decor, as well as providing on site detailing services for small trailerable boats.

Our History
Stephanie Pratt
Owner
Stephanie grew up only knowing The ShipShaper. Her mother, Laura Rosado, started The ShipShaper, LLC in the early 90’s as a single mother, and Stephanie spent many late nights on the docks with Laura. Stephanie then worked for The ShipShaper, LLC as a detailer for over 10 years through high school, college, and graduate school. After receiving her master’s degree in Business Management, she went off into the world working in a management role for a small business and eventually moved on to the government sector, specializing in Human Resources. After starting a family and supporting Laura on the sidelines, when Laura decided it was time to retire Stephanie took over, and decided to open Shapin' by The ShipShaper.
